Who are we looking for?

Lion Engineering is looking for a Quality Inspector to join the Inspection department due to expansion. If you are seeking an opportunity to showcase your skills and contribute to a growing company, then this new role could suit you well.

The Role

Conduct comprehensive inspections and sampling procedures for incoming materials, parts, and components.
Inspection of raw materials, welding consumables, and perform inspections throughout the welding process.
Assess the quality of reworked or finished products as necessary, maintaining meticulous records of inspection results.
Maintain accurate and organized documentation of controlled files, test records, and inspection packs for customers.
Monitor critical equipment and instrumentation to ensure optimal operation and calibration.
Collaborate with our packaging and logistics team to ensure goods are properly packed, marked, and accompanied by necessary documentation.

The Person

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Familiarity with industry codes and standards such as ASME, ASNT, API, NACE, DIN, BS, etc.
Knowledge of critical processes including welding, heat treatment, and NDT (non-destructive testing).
Demonstrated capability to handle multiple projects independently and take initiative.
Proficiency in MS Office applications.
Experience with CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) and Faro Arms is advantageous.
